About

You may be asking yourself “What is Catfish, Corndogs & Cornhole”? We’ll do our best to explain it, but it’s basically an event that has…

  • Catfish: A massive, all-you-can-eat catfish fry
  • Corndog: A sausage coated in a thick layer of batter deep fried on a stick.
  • Cornhole: Also known as beanbag toss, corn toss, BAGGO or bags, is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end.

This year, 100% of proceeds from the CCC event will go toward Mercy Health Foundation.

Tournament

Welcome to the Catfish, Corndogs & Cornhole Tournament!

What the heck is cornhole? Cornhole, also known as Corn Toss, Bean Bag, Bean Toss, Soft Horseshoes, is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Scoring can be swift and the lead may change hands several times in a match before the winner is decided.

How in tarnation do I play cornhole? It’s a very simple game, but you can learn all about it by visiting http://www.playcornhole.org/how.shtml

The CCC Tournament will be double elimination and will follow the official cornhole rules and regulations. Learn more by visiting http://www.playcornhole.org/rules.shtml
